I have an OC i would appreciate being drawn but i dont have 80+ dollars to pay for a good artist to actually put more effort than lineart or a sketch towards.

There are plenty of people who can be commission for like $5-$10. There are a lot of GOOD artists that commission for far less than “industry standard” and even below what they COULD fetch for the QUALITY they produce. Some artists even do raffles and stuff and GIVE AWAY drawings. $80 is actually a fair price for a quality commission based on what I have seen.

As a side note… if you have a really poorly designed OC you are less likely to get anybody to draw it for you. From what I have learned artists are more inclined to draw things they themselves are interested in drawing. 

I was  going to say more but I realized I am basically talking into thin air.

Artists don’t owe you jack shit. I get so tired of seeing people act this way. You seriously expect people to spend hours of their time drawing free artwork for you while many of us (like myself) LIVE off of the commission money we get? Nothing of good quality is free, get used to it.
